“
It is a shaky time indeed. the clock is ticking, and many people are gravely concerned.”
Not me. Not in the least. Read on to find out why.
People all over the USA and for that matter the world are up in arms from the election. There are the elated, and the infuriated, but as far as I am concerned, it need not bother everyone really…
I know some people have been glued to CNN watching the results, trying to compute what it all means for their futures. Concerned that if in their opinion the ’wrong’ candidate won it might spell financial doom for them.
Guess what? I won’t be one of them…nor will my good friend Yanik Silver, or my old Air Force buddy Craig Beckta (Craig and I fixed Sea King helicopters back in the days before we became full-time affiliate marketers :>)
Why?
Quite simply because we’ve figured out how to write our own meal tickets, regardless of what’s going on with the crazy economy, the next person in the White House or any external factor!
It starts from figuring out how to create profits on demand (just like turning a tap). Then that gives you
freedom to do what you want and when you want. And it expands to how you live your life and what meaning you bring to others.
This is what Yanik calls his “Maverick Philosophy for Entrepreneurs” – It’s a way to make more, have more fun and give back more! It’s his ‘Maverick Manifesto’!
If you are interested in a a better future at all, and a way to helo others as we are while pulling down ridiculously good “coin”, why not see what Yanik is talking about?
He’s put up a free 60+ minute video right here:
Sincerely,
Ron Davies
P.S. Yes, I know the word “Maverick” has been
stomped on with the election, but it makes sense here
because you get to write your own rules. You get to be
the person that decides how to play the ‘game’ and that’s
being a renegade…someone who’s NOT going to cower in the
corner while the media tells us the sky is falling.
If you’d like to join us – you’ll want to watch this
powerful video:

… doesn’t it create the classic moral hazard? Today there are MORE PENDINGS THAN ACTIVE LISTINGS in San Diego County. Let’s look at how many are short sales in process (the calculating is a little tricky, but I think this is accurate….. well, as accurate as the Sandicor MLS can be): … If the banks were less worried about keeping their meal-tickets happy and more worried about staying financially solvent, a large number of the other inefficiencies would simply go away. …

It depends on the Congress and the adviser. The adviser has as much influence as the Congress will let him/her have. Only Congress can declare war, so their influence depends on how well they make a case for or against war to the Congress.

This definitely wouldn't be my list, I would say Mike Bloomfield definitely should have been in the top 5, and although I love Nirvana I agree with you Cobain wasn't much of a guitarist. As far as Joni Mitchel and Keith Richards neither should be were they are on the list if Joni Mitchel even makes the list. Jimmy Page was a sloppy guitarist and stole a lot of his music so I wouldn't have put him at 9. Robby Krieger was also a classically trained guitarist and is definitely under appreciated, probably because Jim Morrison was an attention hog. I agree that Steve Vai should have definitely been on the list along with a list of at least half a dozen left out delta blues guitarist. I think Rolling Stone focused on just a few of the more popular genres of rock which is dumb but to be expected.

There are many affiliate programs with products that sell and pay good commissions but that's only part of the story. You need customers to promote them to and that usually involves getting traffic to a website. If you rely on PPC advertising like Google AdWords, you can waste an awful lot of money before you start making any (if you do at all).
Get some ideas here:

The most important characteristic of a good marketer is to be able to understand other people's needs and the way that they view the world. Every decision that a marketer makes should stem from an understanding of customers.
Other important characteristics include:
- The ability to think strategically. You want to be able to determine how others (customers, competitors, suppliers, etc.)will react your company's/brand's moves so that you can optimize the situation in your favor.
- Creative thinking. Oftentimes this makes the difference between good and great marketers. The great ones see possible solutions that aren't obvious. This includes solutions to marketing strategy, product feature, and marketing communications problems.
- Analytical thinking. A lot of marketing decisions are based on analysis of things such as sales figures, customer responses, and costs. Not all of this analysis is quantitative– some of it is more conceptual analysis– but enough is quantitative that you should be comfortable with numbers.
- A sense of quality & design. Your ability to recognize and articulate how a product/marketing communication's design affects people's response to that offering is critical for working with other people and for leading them to where the offering needs to be.
Finally, you should not fall into the trap that so many mediocre marketers and non-marketing businesspeople fall into. Don't confuse marketing with advertising. Advertising is only a small part of marketing– and in my opinion, it's a relatively less important part of marketing, despite the glitz associated with the advertising industry. The more difficult and more important part of marketing is figuring out what customers' needs are and determining how to deliver the best solution to those needs. Marketing is (usually) involved in setting product features, product price, identifying the best stores and other channels through which to sell the product, and developing marketing communications, which include but aren't limited to traditional advertising.
Good luck deciding what you want to study and then what you later want to do with your career! Not easy decisions, but there are lots of great paths in life, and I hope things work out well for you.

“The goal of the new biology is to tie these things together reliably and to understand how the phenotype emerges from the genotype.
That will lead to better medical diagnosis and treatment. It will result in the ability to manipulate animals, plants, fungi and bacteria to human ends. It will explain the history of life. And it will reveal, in pitiless detail, exactly what it is to be human.”

At seventeen, Justin Bartha moved to New York City from the Midwest to attend acting school. Who knew, that several years later, he’d be dating an Olsen. We’re only kidding, of course. Bartha has a far bigger accomplishment than dating Ashley, namely, being in movies. Some of them you love (The Hangover), and some of them help Nicolas Cage avoid bankruptcy (National Treasure). Bartha’s latest is the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it indie Holy Rollers, a cautionary tale Hasidic drug smugglers in Brooklyn. Bartha plays Yosef Zimmerman, who uses young boys from an Orthodox Jewish community to help him transport ecstasy. He employs a new recruit named Sam (played by Bartha’s good friend Jesse Eisenberg), who’s taken on a dark drug-fueled journey that makes him question the Big Four: life, love, faith and himself. Here is the actor on the making of Holy Rollers and his favorite Jewish deli In New York.

All in this world is a balance. Disharmony with the world comes from an imbalance within your self.
Don't focus so much on what is good and evil, and focus instead on what is right and wrong in the given the situation.
Discard the notions of a white and black world of extremes, and focus instead on the grey, where the truth most often lies.
Nothing you can buy can ever make you truly happy.

“Jon Favreau is back at it on Twitter again! During the production of Iron Man 2 last year, Favreau would write occasional tweets and send out random set photos (nothing too revealing) in order to get fans excited. Well, now that Iron Man 2 is out and he’s already starting early pre-production on the upcoming Cowboys & Aliens adaptation, he’s back on Twitter again revealing our first look at that movie. Favreau tweeted out a camera (and costume) test photo for Cowboys & Aliens last night showing what looks to be Daniel Craig in full-on cowboy gear as our anti-hero Zeke Jackson.”

Sometimes you have to be strong for yourself. You have to know that you are a good person and a good friend. What is meant to be will end up good and what is not won’t. Relationships are worth fighting for, but sometimes you can’t be the only one fighting. At times, people need to fight for you.
