Yes I fully agree with you. Women are mostly very cleaver like Portia. This is my analysis about the cleverness of Portia.
Portia was admired as an ideal of feminine virtue. However, many modern critics have pointed out that Portia, though seemingly a genius and a perfect wife, regularly displays a vicious prejudice toward non-Christians and foreigners.
In Merchant of Venice it is uniquely tied with gender, though gender roles are a bit inverted because the women of the play tend to be wealthier than the men. Marriage is often portrayed as a transaction; women trade their money and subordination for men’s loyalty and faithfulness.
In addition, marriage is also a sacrifice. For Portia, marriage has come at the cost of losing her father – and she had no choice but to marry because that she was without the protection of a man otherwise. Still, the women find ways to assert their power; they seem to have accepted their lot as subordinate to their husbands, but they subvert the paradigm – Portia with her unconventional cleverness.
All characters in Shakespeare's plays trade something in return for the security of marriage, but marriage is still considered an ultimate goal and good, even if it is fairly unrelated (at least in its foundation) to love.
There are many such women characters in the history of different countries. The women always place very important and significance role in man's life and this quality is something to be proud of. I bow the women for their cleverness-
The temporal evolution of vegetation activity on various land cover classes in the Spanish Pyrenees was analyzed. Two time series of the normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) were used, corresponding to March (early spring) and August (the end of summer). The series were generated from Landsat TM and Landsat ETM+ images for the period 1984-2007. An increase in the NDVI in March was found for vegetated areas, and the opposite trend was found in both March and August for degraded areas (badlands and erosion risk areas). The rise in minimum temperature and the time variation of the cloud cover during the study period appears to be the most important factors explaining increased NDVI in the vegetated areas. In degraded areas, no climatic or topographic variable was associated with the negative NDVI trend, which may be related to erosion processes taking place in these regions.

Photographer Eric Fischer uses Flickr’s geotags to create city maps that show the places of intense human interest. We’ve seen maps of photographic activity around the world, and maps of traffic activity in a city, which reveal how heavily roads are used. And now, photographer Eric Fischer has combined both ideas, creating maps of 50 different cities around the world, using only the geotags of photos uploaded to Flickr and Picasa. What emerges are basically maps of human interest–that is, all the places fascinating enough that someone decided to take a picture. Above, the map for New York, with Manhattan in the center. You’ll also notice a bit of color coding on the maps. Apparently, Fischer was able to guess that the picture taker’s mode of transportation–presumably using the time stamps and distance traveled between a user’s pictures. Generally there is only one look for Westies but some are longer and some are more compact.
I own a Westie. I bought him from a breeder whose Westie is a champion from Taiwan. In a litter of 4, I saw 3 of it. I can roughly describe to you how it look like and each of them are different.
1. The first female pup has straight hair and very white, she is cute and rare. I believe this is the type you mentioned above when you wrote "quite rarely we see straight coat." You can find her picture at Dogster.com if you search for Morris from Malaysia.
2. The male pup. I bought him and name him Casper. He is extremely intelligent but he had a streak of grayish hair from the back of his head to his tail. It turned yellowish later on because of the weather in Malaysia where I live. He has wirey coat but his forehead is a little bald. Overall, he looks better now as he is about 1 year old next month. 3. THe last pup is a female with very little hair, she look a bit sick and is smaller than the other two. Her legs were longer making her look taller than the rest.
In one litter, I see three different Westies but generally there is only one. If you grow your Westie and make sure the coat is long enough, you will get the natural Westie look – we call it the Lion's Cut here locally.

Hawthorns are a fruit, native to the US Midwest. When apples were introduce, the flies that targeted hawthorns, began to use apples as a food source. Now there are two populations that are distinct, one feeding on hawthorns, one on apples. Although they can interbreed, they generally don't. The wasps that prey on the flies now have subpopulations with preferences for the apple or hawthorn preferring flies.
