Google Adsense Bounce Rate & Pagerank

So many web marketers use web page traffic exchange system and start page exchanges as part of their website promotion strategy.

In many cases this is a very bad idea, particularly when it comes to Google Adsense sites and Pagerank.

If you’re one of the WordPress users that has upgraded to WP 2.7, or one of those smart people that have installed the “Wassup” plugin for WordPress, you may be wondering what the “wp-cron.php” file is about that keeps popping up in your stats. Don’t worry, it’s nothing nasty, just the WordPress blog engine executing a few commands and updates based on date and time.

Below is a link to download the WordPress Cron Demo plugin. It demonstrates how the WordPress Cron feature can be used to accomplish a number of things.

Taking control of your WP Cron processes (Cron just means “chronoligical” or “time-based”) can help free up resources in your WP install and your web server.

Installation & use:

1. Download Cron Demo v1.0 and extract to a local folder.
2. Upload extracted contents to wp-content/plugins folder and activate from plugins tab in WordPress admin panel.
3. Go to the “Options� administration menu

For those  familiar with Clickbank, this seems an odd question, but for those that have yet to discover the power of the simplest, most versatile and most trusted company in electronically delivered product affiliate programs, this is a real discovery.

Personally, I have been happily working with Clickbank for over 8 years.

During this time, I have been paid on time like clockwork, and I honestly cannot remember a single late payment. Now, more recently my checks reached a point where they are sent by courier, but even when I was on the old First Class US Mail system, payment was prompt, which is especially impressive given that my checks had to be mailed to Canada.

I cannot tell you how exciting it has been to watch others that I trained or introduced to affiliate marketing come to a point where they leave their very good paying jobs to do this full time. I get letters pretty much regularly from people taking the plunge and I have to tell it is a scary thing ( I took the plunge after about 4 years of part-time involvement with affiliate marketing and left the Air Force while my wife Amber was in college and three other kids in the public school system) but most of us that planned it well have never looked back.

Now, to understand Clickbank they are essentially the “middle man” in thousands of transactions every day involving products they don’t own, sold to buyers that were introduced to those products by websites or emails from affiliates.

I wrote a post to the Twitter time line a day or two ago asking followers to post in 140 characters why anyone should elect to follow them on Twitter. Now I know this isn’t a truly original idea, but I thought it a great opportunity for the cream to rise to the top.

What is important to note here, other than the varied and interesting reasons given for people to elect to follow these responders is that they all took the extra bit of time to send me their reasons in a DM, or Direct Message” to me. Among other things, this shows that these folks will take the time to answer your questions as well.
